The software is licensed for a specific period of time. When the license ends, users need to purchase the low cost Annual License Renewal, which provides:

• An ongoing license to use the Pipe Flow Expert software.
• Free upgrades to new releases of the software as they become available.
• World class technical support (email and telephone).
• Help with modelling issues.
• Help with licensing issues (and moving licenses).

UPGRADE FROM VERSION 7 (FREE, if you have a current valid license):

If you have a valid and supported license for Pipe Flow Expert version 7, then we allow you to upgrade to the latest Pipe Flow Expert software for free. The new license will be valid through to your current license end date (this license also covers support, ongoing technical assistance, help with modelling issues, and free upgrades).

UPGRADE FROM VERSION 6 or older:

Prior to 2015, some perpetual licenses were provided for Pipe Flow Expert version 6 (and older). We are currently allowing users that run very old versions of the Pipe Flow Expert software (which are many years out of support) to upgrade to the latest version at a 50% discount to buying a new license.

Users will then receive a 12-month license to run the latest Pipe Flow Expert software.

This is a great offer if you are running an unsupported, old version of the Pipe Flow Expert software. Under previous license terms, all missed support periods needed to be paid for to re-instate cover and to get upgraded to the latest version of the software.

This offer gives previous users a one-time opportunity to get updated to the latest version of the Pipe Flow Expert software at a highly discounted cost.

UPGRADE FROM ANY LITE VERSION (25 Pipes) to FULL version (1000 pipes):

If you currently have a license for Pipe Flow Expert Lite (any version) and you want to upgrade to the full version of the latest release of the Pipe Flow Expert software, then we will allow you a full credit against the price you previously paid for the Lite license.

Email us to request an upgrade from Pipe Flow Expert Lite (25 pipes) to the full version (1000 pipes), and we will provide you with a promotion code that allows you to purchase a full license for the difference in cost between what you paid for the Lite license and what the current cost of a full license is.


Annual License Renewal with Support

Once a license ends, there is a Low-Cost Annual License Renewal option which extends the license for a further 12-months. This provides an ongoing license, access to technical support, help with modeling issues, and free upgrades to new releases as they are made available.

If you choose not to upgrade from a previous version, then your current version of the software will still run until the license ends. If you require assistance after this, then you will need to purchase the low-cost annual license renewal, to upgrade to the latest version of the Pipe Flow Expert software.
