Common Gas 09 – Centrifugal Blower Curve
Figure 52 Common Gas 09 – Centrifugal Blower Curve
A backward curve centrifugal blower is used to take fresh air to 4 outlet points located in the roof space of a building. At each outlet point a heating/cooling coil is used to provide the required air temperature. High level diffusers are used to distribute the air in to the space.
The blower has been modelled using a volumetric flow rate unit (ft3/min). This volume of air refers to air at the density condition specified in the fluid zone. In this instance the fluid zone is defined for air at 0.0 psi.g and 60 degrees F (standard conditions), therefore the volume is the same as SCFM.
