Figure 65  General Gas 11 - Pipeline with Four Distribution Points

A Natural Gas Pipeline distributes gas to 4 outlet points. Some downstream pipe sections have been reduced in diameter to lower installation costs.

A pipeline efficiency of 0.95  and a compressibility factor of 0.88 have been used throughout the model, together with the Panhandle B isothermal flow formula. The pressure needed at the inlet point and the pressure at each of the outlet point needs to be calculated when a minimum pressure of 30.000 bar.g is required at the final delivery point (E).
